Hey Guys…

I have just collected some new goodies for the BeagleShop… and a re-order of the flasks.

*REMEMBER* a portion of profits from sales in the BeagleShop are donated to charity!!

Flasks are R60 each… I can either bring them to a hunt in JHB… or post it anywhere in SA for an additional R20 for postage as a registered letter (2 to 3 days delivery to your nearest Post Office)

These “I love my Beagle” flasks make those early winter mornings more bearable! A great gift for a beagle-lover who has everything else!

Then I got a re-order of the Beagle Mom and Beagle Dad keyrings, and 2 other new designs… These are such cool keyrings and at R40 each, you must have at least 2 per family!!

They are VERY popular, so place your order now via email!!

I can bring them to a JHB Hunt or post to anywhere in SA for R20 as a registered letter (2 to 3 days delivery to your nearest Post Office)

Lastly… these new, smaller beagle on board stickers…

R20 each. They measure about 10cm across.

Again, I can bring them to a JHB Hunt or post to anywhere in SA for R20 as a registered letter (2 to 3 days delivery to your nearest Post Office)

I also have a few pin badges left – at R20 each… not many! (they are 37mm in diameter) … A great accessory for caps, bags or jackets.

Send your orders asap! First come (and paid) get preference!! :)

see you all soon!

As some of you know, a portion of proceeds made from sales from the BeagleShop are donated to a charity dedicated to helping animals. These charities are listed on our Links Page.

Last week I donated some money to Wetnose Animal Rescue Shelter. They sent us this thank you letter.

So, to everyone who has bought something from the BeagleShop, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!! :) Donations come from sales of Hunting Bibs, Badges, Stickers, Flasks, T-Shirts… absolutely everything on sale is a donation towards a charity! Thanks guys :) I’m not selling this stuff to make money for myself!

-Happy Beagling,

Tanya

Yesterday we met up for another beagle hunt and a social get together afterwards for boerewors rolls and a chat.

It is getting colder every week and waking up is getting more difficult every time! Some of us have more trouble with the early mornings than others. While most of us arrived on time and properly dressed… Poor Roti seemed to have had a very tough time leaving the comforts of his basket at home, and he arrived in his Pyjamas! Can you believe it ;)
Trevor kept trying to convince us that Roti was actually wearing his “Racing Silks” but we know better! – I mean, seriously – that face has “EMBARRASSED” written all over it! :) hee hee!

Every week seems to set a new record with the number of beagles! Again, we had between 45 and 50 beagles! Some new faces again, which is always nice… especially when the new faces are in the form of a super cute 8 week old puppy called Zoe

Another new face, was this one… although we weren’t too sure how he fitted into the mix at the “BEAGLE Hunt” … oh well :)

I hope no one notices I'm not a Beagle!

The hunt went well… with some long tough lines. The new dogs who have joined us this season are continuing to do rather well. The beagles did much better with the terrain than we did – their legs are so much shorter than ours, but they have so much more energy than we do – running and running and running through the veld!
Look how exhausted Charlie looks

Afterwards the guys braaied wors for all of us, and we tried our best to keep all the greedy beagles out of our food! I also did a few sales of T-shirts, stickers, flasks and badges from the BeagleShop (remember a portion of proceeds is donated to charity!)

Thanks to Jane for organising the meat, rolls, plates etc. Everyone seemed to have a good time!

It was the last time we’ll be seeing Leanda for a while – she is due to have her baby girl in 3 weeks! We wish her and Gary all the very best! Can’t wait to meet the little girl! (or at least see some photos!)

Our next hunt is on Sunday 21 June at 8am… sign up here

Hi,

We are creating a comprehensive database of everyone who attends, and wants to attend the Gauteng Beagle Field Days. This info is just used to keep track of everyone and to have a list of who belongs to who etc. It will make the organising a bit easier on everyone.

All Beaglers need to register here… regardless of whether you are new or old to the field days.

If you are new and need a number, I will issue a number to your hound once I have your registration form. All hounds need to wear a bib and have a number to participate. Bibs are available to borrow on the day, or you can make your own, or you can order online from the BeagleShop.

Please remember to register… and see you soon!

- Thanks!!
