Is s/he registered? No.  She is purebred but with no papers.
Is s/he sterilised?  Yes

Area:  Hillcrest, Durban

Reason for rehoming: Moving to an estate that does not allow dogs

Other: (any additional info which will help finding the right home…)  I
would love to try keep them together, but will seperate them if necessary.
She is “clicker” trained

Age : 1 Year

SEX : Male

Is s/he registered? No.  Purebred but no papers. I can’t remember the name
of the breader we bought him from but it was a mom and daughter in Jhb
somewhere (I can try find out if you need to know)

Is s/he sterilised? No

Is s/he microchipped? No

Is s/he friendly with:

Dogs: yes

Cats: yes

Children: definately

Area: Hillcrest, Durban

EDIT 1 FEB – HANNAH HAS A NEW HOME!

Hi Guys…

there is a (approximately) 5 year old female beagle in Fourways who is looking for a new Forever Home… Her name is Hannah the Hound…

Her current family got her from the S.P.C.A. so she doesn’t have papers, but she is pedigree.

She is spayed and Micro chipped.

She is friendly with dogs / cats and children

She is scared during thunderstorms

REASON FOR REHOMING:

“She is a lovely dog, the only problem is we need to run a business from home and she likes to be inside the house – this is a bit impractical – we only allow her in after hours, but since she is so social, she gets really frustrated. We also have young baby and she is determined to get in the house at all costs (since she is so intelligent – she injured herself trying to jump through the window). I don’t want this to happen again.

She also gets nervous during thunderstorms and tries to get inside.

We need an owner that is prepared to allow her in the house on a more regular basis. She is such a lovely dog with beautiful tri-colouring, so we really want to find her a good home.

Her name is Hannah the Hound…

She is about 5 years old, is very social, passive and friendly. She can be disciplined although she has not been to school.”

Hi Everyone…

for some reason, the last week or so, I have been inundated with emails from people who are looking at rehoming their (young adult) beagles.

This breaks my heart! Please see if you can help any of these guys out by providing them with a new mommy or daddy & beagle siblings!

** Also – I know that when you are looking at getting a new dog, there is NOTHING in the world that compares to a beagle puppy… but please remember that there are slightly older dogs who need just as much love – and possibly less work to house train them! Please think carefully before buying a puppy! **

They get naughty when they don’t have attention. They feel guilty that they want more love and playing than they are getting now.

Other: They are lovely natured, very affectionate and attentive. Patsy is very energetic. Burt less so. They are very sociable at the park and remarkably obedient for Beagles. Always come back to you when called
